Apart from the wide range of scholarships and awards open to all students in the The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and in the University on the basis of academic merit and other criteria set by the donors, four are awarded exclusively to students in the BA Translation Programme:

Equity Financial Press Limited Scholarship
The Equity Financial Press Limited Scholarship provides HK$20,000 each to two local full-time Year 2 BATRAN students who have achieved the highest cumulative GPA of at least 3.4 in the previous academic year.

BA Translation Second-Year Scholarship
This scholarship of HK$5,000 each is awarded to three BA Translation students who have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above in the first-year Bachelor degree study at HKBU, and have completed at least one TRAN course with GPA 3.4 or above, preferably TRAN1005. (Note: the scholarship was formerly known as the BATRAN Programme Entrance Student Scholarship.)

Prof. Jane Lai Prize
Established by a group of staff members in honour of Professor Jane Lai, Emeritus Professor of Hong Kong Baptist University, the prize provides an annual sum of HK$2,000 to a Translation student who produces the best Honours Project.

The Hong Kong Translation Society has established one scholarship of HK$10,000 for a final year student in Translation who has achieved outstanding academic results in the previous year of study.
