The Department hosts regular conferences, symposiums and talks, often in association with the Centre for Translation at HKBU, which synergizes closely with the Department. Recent highlights include the 2nd HKBU International Conference on Interpreting (2021), Translating and Interpreting Political Discourse (2019), and the 6th IATIS Conference (2018).
