Our staff publish in a variety of areas of translation research. They contribute in particular to the Literary Translation and Intercultural Studies cluster, and the Intersemiotic Translation cluster.

This cluster is concerned with intersemiotic contexts, where translation operates either between different semiotic systems, or interlingually within environments in which other semiotic factors such as spatial and visual elements exert a crucial influence upon interlingual translation. Our research interests focus mainly on the following areas:
