This international symposium explores how movements, migrations, and speed/slowness impact human cultural, social, and political life in relation to the Earth and multispecies encounters, and in what ways these experiences of mobility are portrayed and thought about in aesthetic forms. We call for a movement-centred discussion for rethinking the ecocritical knowledges, imaginations, and methods that emerge in the Anthropocene.
