Admissions

The Admissions Process

The Department accepts applications via the Graduate School, which operates two deadlines for the receipt of applications for admission in the Academic Year 2021-2022: 1 December 2020 (first round) and 15 April 2021 (second round). Since admission offers are highly competitive and subject to quota availability, you are strongly advised to make your application as soon as possible.

Following review of applications by the Department Research Postgraduate Programme Committee, outstanding applicants will be invited for interview. The Department typically admits between one and two new research postgraduate (RPg) students per year.
